A general rule of thumb is that if you have consistent problems falling asleep (not necessarily due to your brain racing), or problems staying asleep, there’s a good chance you are deficient in calcium, which is a natural muscle relaxer. So in that case, I encourage you to try Shaklee’s calcium to see how it works for you. Dose depends on your age and lifestyle. The older you get, you might benefit from more than the minimum dose on the label.
Another option that works well for many, is taking our Stress Relief Complex or B-Complex along with a couple calciums shortly before bed. I’ve tried this and it works great, I notice I actually sleep much deeper when I take them at bedtime, if I’ve had a stressful/busy day. Of course, I already take 4-6 of their calcium tablets every day to begin with. (Two of which I always take at bedtime, because I learned how much better your body uses calcium while you’re sleeping!) Many people incorporate our Stress Relief Complex during the day, but I just recently learned how beneficial it can be at bedtime, too!!
