PMS….that vicious monthly cycle!

My kids were 3 and 7, (daughter being the oldest) when we all started using Shaklee’s vitamins. And I’ll never forget when my daughter was about 16, she had been missing her vitamins on a more regular basis, for about two months, just because I didn’t “hound” her about them anymore. One day she was in a lot of menstrual pain, i.e. severe cramping, etc. and it frightened her to the point she thought something was REALLY wrong and that I needed to bring her to a doctor.

I just assumed she had always experienced menstrual pain along with the other common PMS symptoms and simply didn’t want to complain about it.  She then explained that “No”, this was something she had never experienced in the past, which was why she was so sure that something must be drastically wrong.  I couldn’t believe it!  All this time I just assumed she was being very private about it, when actually she hadn’t even been experiencing PMS symptoms!  It was then that we put two and two together and realized that these symptoms must because of not taking her vitamins as routinely as she always had. She immediately got back on them regularly and within that next 30 days, she was back to breezing through her monthly cycle with no pain! It never even occurred to me that she had not complained of pain every month in all those earlier years!  Amazing!

After some research, we figured out it was most likely Shaklee’s multi-vitamin, Vita Lea with Iron, their B-Complex and their calcium product which helped her stay symptom-free!!  And the reason my symptoms lessened within a few months and eventually disappeared completely, after I started on Shaklee’s products!!
