Do you grind your teeth?

Teeth grinding, called Bruxism, has actually become quite common. Most people with this issue grind their teeth at night and over time it becomes obvious enough that their dentist will recommend wearing a night mouth guard to prevent any further harm to their teeth. I, on the other hand, found myself grinding my teeth during the day, without even realizing it. For years I wasn’t even aware I was doing it, even when it left my jaw feeling very sore. But I also didn’t notice immediately when it unexpectedly stopped!

You see, I started using Shaklee’s Calcium/Magnesium product (called Osteomatrix) and a few months later, I forgot to order it and figured, “Oh well…. I’ll just get it next time!” Within a couple weeks of not taking it, a experienced that achy, sore jaw when day while out running errands. It occurred to me that I hadn’t felt that in a long time. So I researched it and discovered that calcium and magnesium (especially when combined), is a natural muscle relaxer. And tense muscles is what causes you to clench your jaw.  I researched the topic just to be sure and I was right. For me…. Shaklee’s Osteomatrix is what keeps me from grinding my teeth.  Give it try for a couple months, before resorting to a night mouth guard. Like I’ve said before, look at these symptoms as your body saying, “Hello…. I’m missing something important here!” Start listening to your body, it knows what it needs!
