Do charley horses (leg cramps) wake you up at night?

Have you ever been woke up from a sound sleep to the excruciating pain of a charley horse?! Ugh… then there’s that panic to fly out of bed and, as much as you know it’s going to hurt, force your heel down to the floor to make that pain stop!! Man, although my last charley horse was probably 25 years ago, I will never forget what that’s like, because it was happening to me about 3 times a week!

Within just a few months of taking Shaklee’s supplements, I realized that I was experiencing yet another wonderful side-benefit….no more charley horses!  Mind you, I wasn’t expecting this to happen….it just did, without any conscious effort on my part….other than intentionally feeding my body Shaklee’s amazing nutritional supplements on a DAILY basis!

I’ve done a bit of research, I do believe the primary one that made a difference for my charley horses was Shaklee’s calcium, called Osteomatrix. Calcium along the magnesium in this product, are essential for relaxing your muscles. Dehydration can also cause muscle cramping…..so try to drink as much water as you can every day!  Could this remedy work for you?  You won’t know till you try it!  And keep in mind….NOT ALL calcium products are alike…which is why I HIGHLY recommend Shaklee’s Osteomatrix!  The recommended dose on the bottle is 4 a day, and the best way to take it is to split it up, take two in the morning and two at bedtime.  As we age, our calcium requirements increase, which is why many people over 50 take 6 a day instead of minimum 4 listed on the bottle.  Just something to keep in mind!;-)
