A few years ago, I had a Shaklee table at a family consignment store event and although my main focus was on “Helping Kids Find Their Happy Face”, among the people who stopped to talk to me, there was a woman who had heard of Shaklee and knew they had cleaners. She had already shared with me that her child, about the age of 6, had many health issues, asthma and several allergies being amongst them. She asked about Shaklee’s cleaners because she had heard they were known for being the greenest products on the market and she had also heard about how chemicals in cleaners might have a direct effect on asthma/allergy symptoms in children.
We live in a society that is over-fed yet under-nourished….literally. We have grocery stores filled with food, fast-food restaurants everywhere we look! So with all this food available to us, how is it that the majority of our society is literally under-nourished?! When you see people under-nourished due to starvation in other countries, it’s a very obvious condition and problem. But here in the U.S., it’s a hidden problem. Sure many people are overweight and/or obese, so there’s evidence of the over-fed issue, but even those people who are considered a good weight, are also likely under-nourished. They just have fast metabolisms that help hide any kind of real problem going on in their bodies.
How important do you feel a good Multivitamin is for you, vs. individual vitamins? Look at it this way……let’s say you were putting together a champion football team….would you agree that even if you found THE ABSOLUTE BEST QUARTERBACK IN THE WORLD, you wouldn’t expect him to play and win the game alone, would you? You would need the whole team present to back him up…..am I right? That’s how you need to look at supplementation. In order for any one particular vitamin/mineral to work at its best, it needs a good “team” (foundation of vitamins) backing it up, helping it to perform at it’s peak!
